Lead Instructor, Internship Programs

Charisma Lambert

Charisma Lambert is the Lead Instructor of Internship Programs, where she supports students in developing the skills and confidence to succeed in college, career, and beyond. Drawing on her background as an educator and data strategist, she is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments that expand access to opportunity for all students.

Charisma began her career as a Special Education Teacher, first teaching second grade in Baltimore before returning to her hometown of Newark, New Jersey, to continue her work with high school students with diverse learning needs. Her work has always been guided by a simple conviction: differently abled does not mean unable, and everyone deserves equitable access to opportunities and spaces.

Grounded in the belief that access to quality education and opportunity should be a right, not a privilege, Charisma is committed to advancing inclusive systems that center the experiences and needs of students who have been historically underserved. This commitment led her to Prelude not only because of its mission alignment, but also because of her firsthand experiences as an Audible Future Leaders Intern, a former Uncommon Schools student and teacher, and a recipient of the wisdom and guidance of founder Donnell Butler during his tenure at Franklin & Marshall College. This work is deeply personal and full-circle.

Charisma earned her B.A. in Public Policy and American Studies from Franklin & Marshall College and her Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
